Add-on to Dynamic .NET TWAIN

The OCR add-on of Dynamic .NET TWAIN is a fast and robust Optical Character Recognition .NET component which you can use in WinForms and WPF applications.

By integrating with the image capture module of Dynamic .NET TWAIN, you can scan documents or capture images from webcams, and perform OCR on the images to convert the text in the images to text, searchable PDFs files or string. In addition to English, multiple Asian languages are supported, as well as Arabic.

Multiple output formats

Dynamsoft OCR SDK enables you to save OCR results in the following formats:

  • searchable PDFs (including PDF/A 1-b)
  • text files
  • string variables

In addition, text over image technology supports multiple image compression formats, which reduces the size of PDF files.

Accurate character recognition and font identification

The SDK not only provides basic OCR results, but also detailed position and format information. This includes font names, font sizes, line widths, and more.
