Edit Issue
Summary
This page allows you to edit an issue in the system (edit the fields
or tabs of an
issue).
Access Rights
You must have Edit Issues permission
in the corresponding project.
To Edit Issue
1. Click Edit link available on the top left of the Issue Info page,
and the Edit Issue page appears, as seen in the
following figure:

2. Make changes to the issue information.
3. Click Save to complete the
modification or click Cancel to return to the previous page
without any change.
Window Items:
Issue Details:

Title: The concise summary of the issue.

State: The current
state of the issue.

Priority: The subjective importance and
urgency rating of the issue.

Assigned To: The user who is assigned to
work on the issue.

Description: The detailed information of
the issue.
Issue Tabs:
-
Comment: Comments on the issue,
any of which will be recorded. The
formatting options are available to the content for the
comments.

Attachments: Attachments of the issue. Put the
attachment URL in textbox or select an attachment by clicking
Browse
button. The maximum size of an attachment is set by
System
Options under
System
Settings.

Links: Links to other issues
that related to the current issue. Put
the issue ID in textbox or select an
issue by clicking
Select Issue button.

History: History log of any
field changes that have already occurred.
History will not log the operations of coping and moving issues.
Note:
-
Fields and tabs in the
Create Issue page are decided by
Form Management of the selected issue type
in current project.

You can only link one issue at a time when
creating or editing an issue, but you can link more issues to
the current issue by editing it multiple times.

Once added, comments on the issue can no
longer be edited or deleted.

State field only contains the state values that the current user has
permissions to transit. For more information, refer to
Workflow Transition.
