Move Issue

This page allows you to move issues between projects and issue types.

You must have Edit Issues and Delete Issues permissions in the corresponding project to move issues within the project. In order to move issues across projects, you must have View Issues and Delete Issues permissions in the originating project, and have Edit Issues permission in the destination project.

To Move Issue

1. Click Move link available on the top left of the Issue Info page, and the Move Issue page appears, as seen in the following figure:

2. Select the destination project and issue type.

3. Click Save to move the issue to destination project and issue type.

Note:

The detailed information of the moved issue is not changed except the project and the issue type.
You can move issues across projects and issue types, but you can only copy issues within the same project and issue type.
