Trend Chart of Project

Summary

This page allows you to use the field parameters to customize your trend chart. Using the horizontal axis, you can customize the period of history by setting the start and end dates, as well as the interval that you want to use to define the trend to analyze. Using legends, you can track which fields you want to view.

Access Rights

Any member of the project can view the trend chart.

To View Trend Chart

1. Click Reports node under Project node, and the Reports in Project page appears.

2. Click Trend Chart in Reports in Project page, and the Trend Chart of Project page appears, as seen in the following figure:

3. Specify the parameters that further define the statistic data associated with the chart, click View button to view the corresponding data table and statistic chart listed on the page.

Statistics Parameters:

Issue type

   Filter by issue type. All issues of the selected issue type are listed.

Horizontal (X axis)

         a.   In the Start date list, select the start date to be used on the chart's x-axis as the start point.

         b.   In the End date list, select the end date to be used on the chart's x-axis as the ending point.

         c.   In the Interval list, select the interval to be used as the time interval between two points on the chart's x-axis.

Legends

    For each legend you want to specify, do the following under Legends:

1. In the Field 1 (State) list, select one or more states to be listed in the chart.
2. In the Field 2 list, select the field to be used as a legend.
3. In the Order list, select how to sort the legend Field 2 (Ascending or Descending).
4. In the How to count list, select how to calculate statistic results.
   • Transitions: show how many records were transitioned into the given states at each time point.
   • Transitions (Calculative): show how many records were transitioned into the given states during each time period.
   • State (Calculative): show how many records are at the given states at each time point.

Chart Tab:

    Click View to show Issue Statistics Chart of the corresponding project on this tab.

Table Tab:

• Per page: Set the number of records per page when viewing the report.
• Start date: The start date of the report.
• State: The state of the issue.
• Count: The number of the records at the corresponding state.
