Field Rules in Transition

This page allows you to manage which fields are required to change values and match rules during a certain transition.

You must have Manage Project (Project Templates Management) permission.

1. Click Projects (Project Templates) Management in System Admin page, and the Project (Project Template) List page appears.

2. Select the project (project template) that you wish to manage, click in Manage column of Project (Project Template) List page, and the Project (Project Template) Management page appears.

3. Click Issue Types Management in Project (Project Template) Management page, and the Issue Type List page appears.

4. Select the issue type that you want to manage, click in Manage column of Issue Type List page, and the Issue Type Management page appears.

5. Click Workflow Management in Issue Type Management page, and the Workflow Management page appears.

6. Click Transitions in Workflow Management page, and the Transitions page appears.

7. Select the transition that you want to set field rules in Transitions page, click in Field Rules Configure column on the right, and the Field Rules in Transition page appears, as seen in the following figure:

8. Select a field from the dropdown list, and click Add to add the field into the selected transition.

9. Click in Field Rules Configure column to configure rules for the corresponding field.

10. Click in Delete column to remove the corresponding field from the transition.

Window Items:

Add

Add a field which is required to change value and match rules during the transition..

Name

Name of the fields used in the transition.

Type

Type of the field.

Field Rules Configure

Set rules for the fields in the transition. Field rules configuration in the transition is the same with that in the Fields Management. See Configure Field Rules.

Delete

Remove the field from the transition.

Note:

The dropdown list contains all the fields that can be set field rules in Fields Management page.
If you remove a field from the transition, it will appear in Add dropdown list automatically and vice versa.
