Issue Type List

Summary

Issue type defines the category of an issue. This page allows you to manage issue types in the project (project template).

Access Rights

You must have Manage Project (Project Templates Management) permission.

To open Issue Type List window

1. Click Projects (Project Templates) Management in System Admin page, and the Project (Project Template) List page appears.

2. Select the project (project template) that you wish to manage, click in Manage column of Project (Project Template) List page, and the Project (Project Template) Management page appears.

3. Click Issue Types Management in Project (Project Template) Management page, and the Issue Type List page appears, as seen in the following figure:

Window Items:

Add

    Add a new issue type.

Issue Type

    Name of the issue type. The name must be unique.

    For example: Bug, Feature request, Task.

Description

    Description of the issue type.

    For example: Defects in product manufacture.

Manage

    Manage the issue type settings.

Edit

    Modify the issue type.

Delete

    Delete the issue type.
