Project Permissions

Summary

Project Permissions defines specific access rights to the project data and operations, as listed below:

Permission Description
Manage Project Ability to manage project.
View Issues Ability to view issues.
Edit Issues Ability to create, view and edit issues.
Delete Issues Ability to delete issues.
Manage Public Queries Ability to create, edit and delete public queries.

Access Rights

You must have Manage Project (Project Templates Management) permission.

To open Project Permissions window

1. Click Projects (Project Templates) Management in System Admin page, and the Project (Project Template) List page appears.

2. Select the project (project template) that you wish to manage, click in Manage column of Project (Project Template) List page, and the Project (Project Template) Management page appears.

3. Click Project Permissions in the Project (Project Template) Management page or under the current project (project template) node on the left menu tree, and the Project Permissions page appears, as seen in the following figure:

Window Items:

Add Permission

    Set permissions for users or groups who have not been assigned any permission in the project (project template). See Add Permission.

Users/Groups

    List users or groups who have been assigned permissions in the project (project template).

Permission

    List permissions which the corresponding user or group have been assigned to in the project (project template).

Set Permission

    Set permissions for the corresponding user or group in the project (project template). See Set Permission.

Delete

    Remove permissions from the corresponding user or group in the project (project template).
