Java Client Window

The main window of Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted Java Client includes the following seven parts:

• Title bar
  
• Menu bar
  
• Toolbar
  
• Project tree pane
  
• File list pane
  
• Status window
  
• Status bar

Window Items

Title bar

The title bar displays your organization ID and the type of hosing plan.

Menu bar

Contains the following menus: File, Edit, View, Source, Tools, Help. See also Main Menu.

Toolbar

Provides quick access to the basic Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted commands, including Create Project, Add Files, Add Folder, Label, Delete, Get Latest Version, Check Out, Check In, Undo Check Out, Share, Branch, View, Edit, Show Differences, Show Properties, Show History, Set Working Folder, Refresh and Help. 

Project tree pane

Lists all available projects in the current repository with a hierarchical tree on the left side of the Client window.

File list pane

Displays a list of files in the current project on the right side of the Client window.

• Name:  Displays the file name
• User: Displays the name of the user who checked out the file
• Remote Date: Displays the modification date/time of the remote copy of the file
• Check Out Folder: Displays the path of the working folder to which the file is checked out
• Check in date: Displays the add or check in date/time of the file
• Version: Displays the version of the file
• Remote Size: Displays the size of the remote copy of the file.

Status window

Logs the successes or failures of recently performed operations dynamically in the lower portion of the Client window.

The number of lines displayed in the Status Window is configurable from Tools > Options > View Tab. The default is 500 lines. To clear the Status Window, select Clear Status Window from the Edit menu.

Status bar

Displays current command information, currently logged-in username, encryption status, sort and number of items at the bottom of the Client window.
