How to run Java Client

JDK version 1.4.2.8 is needed for Dynamsoft SAW Standalone Java environment.

Windows

1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above from http://www.sun.com and install it.
2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/runtime_win32.html.
3. Double-click Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone.exe in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone java client is installed.

Linux

1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8  or above from http://www.sun.com and install it
2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/jre/install-linux.html.
3. Double-click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone java client is installed.

Sun Solaris

1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above from http://www.sun.com and install it
2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/jre/install-solaris.html.
3. Double-click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone java client is installed.

Mac OS X

1. Download and deploy JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above, please refer to http://www.apple.com/java.
2. Double-click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone java client is installed.
