File Differences

In Dynamsoft SAW Standalone, you can compare two files and show the difference if any.  You can use a diff utility to compare two files. The default diff utility in Dynamsoft SAW Standalone is MergeHero. Dynamsoft SAW Standalone may also be configured with an external application for visual diff on files . This setting is in Tools->Options->External Programs tab.

When you compare two files,

• For mergeable files, Dynamsoft SAW Standalone visually displays the individual line differences between the two files.
   
• For binary files, Dynamsoft SAW Standalone only identifies the differences.
