How to run Dynamsoft SAW Standalone Java Client

JDK version 1.4.2.8 is needed for Dynamsoft SAW Standalone Java environment.

Windows

  1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above from http://www.sun.com and install it.
  2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/runtime_win32.html.
  3. Double-click Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted .exe in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted java client is installed.

Linux

  1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8  or above from http://www.sun.com and install it
  2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/jre/install-linux.html.
  3. Double click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted java client is installed.

Sun Solaris

  1. Download JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above from http://www.sun.com and install it
  2. Set Java environment for running the java applications (including *.jar). Please refer to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/jre/install-solaris.html.
  3. Double click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted java client is installed.

Mac OS X

  1. Download and deploy JDK version 1.4.2.8 or above, please refer to http://www.apple.com/java.
  2. Double click the file named with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted in the folder where Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Hosted java client is installed.
