Allows you to set the general properties of the SQL server.

Note: Changes in this window call for restarting Dynamsoft SAW Standalone Service to take effect.

Window Items

Server name

Specifies the IP address or domain name of the machine on which SQL Server is running.

Server Connection

Specifies the name and password used to login SQL Server.

• Use Windows authentication
  If this option is checked, users who connect through the Windows user accounts can make use of trusted connection validated by Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista.
   
• Use SQL Server authentication
  This option uses SQL Server security to validate the user. The Login name and Password should be provided by SQL Server.
