When you try to connect to SourceAnywhere Standalone
Server, you may get the following error message in the
output window of SourceAnywhere Standalone Client:
Connecting to server....
Peer closed down the SOCKET connection
Cause
1. The SourceAnywhere Standalone Client and Server are not compatible.
2. Firewall blocks the connection/port.
Resolution
1. Make sure you are using the same version of SourceAnywhere Standalone Client and Server .
2. Make sure there is no firewall is blocking the connection and port. The port number is defined in Server Manager. More info
