Error message: Socket is closed by server. Error creating local temp file.
 

Symptom:

You may get the following error message when you check in or add files:

Socket is closed by server. Error creating local temp file.

Cause:

The cause of this problem is that SourceAnywhere Standalone server does not have read/write permission of the temp folder.

Resolution:

Please make sure SourceAnywhere Standalone server has enough permission of the temp folder.
  • Determine the temp path of SourceAnywhere Standalone server. For information about how to determine the temp path of SourceAnywhere Standalone server, please click here.
  • Check the Log On user of SourceAnywhere Standalone service. For information about how to check the Log On user of SourceAnywhere Standalone service, please click here.
