Visual SourceSafe (VSS) Remote Access Tool Recommended by Microsoft

Login (IDE Client)

Logs you on to Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server. The Login dialog box is only displayed after you connected to Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server.

Dialog Box Items

User

Type your username, which must be configured on the User tab of the Server Manager.

Password

Type your password.

Database

Choose a database, which must be configured on the Database tab of the Server Manager.

Remember Password

Allows you to specify if the client should remember your user name and password. If this option is not checked, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS client will ask you for the user name and password each time you initiate the connection.

Encryption Status

Shows the status of Encryption.

Change Server

Returns to the Connect to Server Dialog Box.

Note: Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS retains the User name of the last successful connection. Database is provided by SourceSafe database. If a secure port is used, the right Encryption Key file should be imported.
