A shared file may be branched in Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS. After a shared file is branched, the share link is broken and the changes made to that file are not reflected in other projects.

How to Branch Shared Files:

1. Select the files from the File List.

2. Choose the Branch command from either the SourceSafe menu.

3. Add any comments to the Branch Comment Dialog Box and then click OK.
