Encryption

To enable the Command Line Client to connect to the secure port and use SSL or Blowfish encryption, the Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Explorer Client (for Windows Command Line Client) or Java Client (for Java Command Line Client) must be installed on the same machine. The Command Line Client will use the same SSL Root Certificate that has been imported into the Explorer Client or Java Client or the Blowfish User Key generated to authenticate the secure connection.

Whether the Command Line Client uses encryption or not depends on the port that the Client connects to. Please contact your Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Administrator to find out which ports are being used for SSL, Blowfish and unsecure connections.
