Command Line Client

In addition to the Explorer Client for Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS provides a Windows and Java Command Line Client for users who prefer typing commands and those who write or maintain batch files for automated source control processing. The Dynamsoft SAW for VSS Command Line supports all the major operations required for source control.

To access the Dynamsoft SAW for VSS Windows Command Line, use the MS-DOS command prompt  from within Windows. You can use the command line by changing your current folder to the folder where SAWVVcmd.exe resides, or from any folder by typing a full path to the Dynamsoft SAW for VSS Command Line directory.

To access the Dynamsoft SAW for VSS Java Command Line, use the command prompt. You must use the command line by changing your current folder to the folder where SAWVcmd.jar resides.

Note: the Dynamsoft SAW for VSS Command Line Client works with Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Professional Server only.
