Configuring Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Cache Server

After the installation of Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Cache Server, you should do some necessary configurations through Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Cache Server Manager to make it work.

Before starting Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS cache server service, you have to do the following configurations at least:

• Establish the service relation between Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS cache server and Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server in Service Relation section.
• If the encryption type of Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS cache server port is set to Blowfish in Service Relation Setting dialog box, export the Blowfish user keys in Blowfish User Keys section.
• If the port of Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server specified in Service Relation Setting dialog box is a Blowfish secure port, import the Blowfish user keys exported by Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server in Client Encryption section.

For your reference, several configuration examples are given in Cache Server Manager section.

In addition, you can accomplish the following administrative tasks through Cache Server Manager:

• Specify the path of temp folder and transfer type
• Set the size of memory used for server caching
• Customize the system log
