Set or change working folder options.
When a file is checked in, it cannot be modified. Thus, selecting the Always Keep Files Checked Out option enables files to be kept in a checked out state upon Check In, so that they may still be modified after the Check In.
Automatically deletes the local copy of files you check in. This helps keep your disk usage to a minimum, and ensures that you always get the most recent version when you start work on a file.
Automatically deletes the working folder copy of a file you delete with the Delete command. This helps keep disk clutter to a minimum. And, as long as you haven't destroyed or purged the file in the VSS database, you can always recover the file later.
Set the read-only flag on files in your working folder. SAW for VSS assumes that files in your working folder that you don't have checked out are read-only. SAW for VSS sets the read-only flag when you perform a Get Latest Version, Add, Check In, or Undo Check Out command on a file, and uses it as a signal that you have not been modifying the file (so SAW for VSS can replace it).
Check this to display a dialog box when you undo check out a changed file.
When you get or check out a file, SAW for VSS copies the file into your working folder. If there is already a writable copy of the file in your working folder, replacing the file may erase your work.
Ask: A dialog box is displayed to give you an option each time.
Replace: Replaces (overwrites) the file.
Skip: Leaves the local file alone (not retrieving the latest version from the server).
Merge: Attempts an automatic merge.
The end-of-line terminator for files may be specified using this option. The options for end-of-line terminator are as follows:
The End-of-Line Terminator option can be changed if the operating system where the working folders reside differs from the operating system being used by the SAW for VSS Client.
This option allows you to specify how SAW for VSS sets the date/time for files in your working folder. The option you choose is the time you will see when you view files in the Windows Explorer.
Specify the time zone difference between client and server. Allowed values are integer between -24 and 24.
