Set and change general configuration options.
SAW for VSS supports file compression to speed the transfer of files. Using Dynam-Zlib, files are compressed before being transmitted and uncompressed when received. File compression is an optional feature. Because it speeds the transfer of files, the default setting for the file compression feature is ON.
This option enables SAW for VSS to always act recursively by default on all projects and subprojects during operations that support recursion. Since performing recursive operations can sometimes be a lengthy process, the default setting for this option is OFF.
The check in unchanged files option may be set to Ask, Check in or Undo check out. If Ask is selected, a dialog box is displayed offering the choice to Check in or Undo check out when you check in an unchanged file. If Check in or Undo check out is selected, SAW for VSS will perform the selected operation automatically.
Specify connection type and the proper selection will speed up the operations. It includes Local Connection, Broad Band Connection and Narrow Band Connection.
Specify here where you want SAW for VSS to store temporary files, or click Browse to search for and select a temporary file location. The default is the Temp subfolder under the folder in the Application Data>Dynamsoft.
Clear the folder stored temporary files.
Note: Creating your Temp folder locally, rather than on a server, may increase SAW for VSS performance.
