1. Select a file from the File List.
2. Click Edit or choose Edit File from either the Edit menu or by right clicking the selected file.
NOTE: Files locked by other users may not be edited unless Multiple Check Out is enabled in the VSS database. The Edit command will check out the file, if needed, and then open the file in an editor application.
