JDK version 1.4.2.8 is needed for SAW for VSS Java environment.
You can use the MS-DOS command prompt to run the SAW for VSS java client. Go to the folder where the SAW for VSS java client is installed, then perform the command: java -jar SAWV.jar
Or go to the project where the SAW for VSS java client is installed, right-click the SAWV.jar and choose Open With>Choose Program>Browse, select the javaw.exe in the bin folder under the JDK installation directory.
You can open the Console and go to the folder where the SAW for VSS java client is installed, then perform the
command: java -jar SAWV.jar
Or go to the project where the SAW for VSS java client is installed, right-click the SAWV.jar and choose Open With>Other Application>Go there>Browse, select the” java command” in the bin folder under the JDK installation directory and add “-jar” parameter to run SAW for VSS java client.
