Memory Cache Setting

Allows you to configure the amount of virtual memory to use for server caching. Storing the frequently accessed data in memory may reduce disk I/O and improve server performance.

NOTE: If changes are made, the Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Server Service must be restarted to register the changes.

Memory

• Use the default setting for server memory (1/16 of the total physical memory) -  When this option is checked, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Server uses the default amount of memory for caching. By default, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Server uses the memory which is as large as 1/16 of the total physical memory.
   
• Use a fixed amount of memory  - When this option is checked, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Server uses a fixed amount of virtual memory you specify in Memory size textbox.
