SSL Root CA (Certification Authority) issues SSL root certificates to users. The SSL root certificate contains the information of a user such as country, province, city, group, department, name, description, E-mail and the expiration date. The SSL root certificate is invalid after it expires.
The SSL root certificate enables Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS client to authenticate Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS server, check the validity of the server, and establish a secure link between the server and client. Data will be transferred in the secure link through the SSL port.
NOTE: If changes are made, the Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere for VSS Server Service must be restarted to register the changes.
