Symptoms
When you open SourceAnywhere
for VSS Server Manager on Windows Vista/7/2008/SBS, you may
find the Start Service and Stop Service buttons are grayed
out.
Also, if you try to make any
changes in Server Manager and close it, you may find your
changes are lost.
Cause
You don't have proper permission to start/stop SourceAnywhere for VSS service and change the server configurations.
Resolution
Please right-click SourceAnywhere for VSS Server Manager and click Run as administrator to launch Server Manager and then make changes.
