The SAW Server logs connection, error information and actions that could prove useful in resolving any problems with the SAW software. Logging Server activity is therefore recommended for ease of problem diagnosis and security audit.
Actions to be logged can be customized in System Log dialog box.
Check Write Log File to enable SAW to write log automatically.
Click to see the log file.
When "write log file" is selected, a log file will be created in the SAW folder. By default, the log file will continuously log information. To shorten the log file, check this option to overwrite the file upon Server startup.
Check the to-be-logged actions to customize the log information. This part of log info is useful for security audits.
Note:
The log information is delimited by Tab, making it easier to be imported into database systems such as Excel and SQL.
