
This page contains information on how to add a user in Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere.
User is the basic element of a team in the system, and team members log in as users. Each unique active user will be bound to a Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere license. The inactive user takes no license.
1. Click Admin | SCM Anywhere | Users | Add, and the Add User window will appear, as seen in the following figure:

2. Fill in the blanks. User name and Email cannot be empty.
3. Click OK to add the new user.
Specify the name of the user. User name is required and must be unique.
Specify a password when the user logs in.
Specify the password again.
Specify the Email address of the user. Email address is required and must be unique and valid.
Specify the address of the user.
Specify the telephone number of the user.
Specify the cellphone number of the user.
Specify description of the user. Put one sentence or more to describe the user.
Specify the active status of the user.
Check the box to activate the user; Uncheck the box to deactivate the user.
Must change password next login
Force the user to change the password after logging in the system.
Lock the user. This option is available only when the lock out policy is enabled. When a user account is locked, you can use this option to unlock the user.
