If you choose to make Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere work in CVS, Subversion Style - Edit/Merge/Commit, the default options will be like this:

In this style, the changes to files will be pending until you check them into SCM Anywhere server. You can edit files without check out, and then use Scan Working Folder command to add the changes into pending list.
