File Differences

In Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere, you can compare two files and show the difference, if any.  The default diff utility in SCM Anywhere is MergeHero. SCM Anywhere may also be configured with an external application for visual diff on files. This setting is in Tools->Options->External Programs tab.

When you compare two files,

• For text files, Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere visually displays the individual line differences between the two files.
   
• For binary files, Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere can only identify if there are any differences.
