How to Start Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere Web Client

1. Configure Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere Web Client:

You should visit the following URL: http://Servername/SCMSWEB/ServiceConfigure.aspx

Window Items:

Server

Name or the IP address of the server on which Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere Standalone Server is installed.

Port

Port number of SCM Anywhere Service. The Port number is set in SCM Anywhere Service Configurator | General Settings.

UseSSL

If you want to use SSL connection, please check this box.

Proxy type

Type of the proxy service. Currently, only HTTP proxy is supported.

Proxy server

IP or server name of the proxy server.

Proxy port

Port number of the proxy service.

Proxy user name

User name of the proxy account.

Proxy password

Password of the proxy account.

Test

Test whether the connection is available.

Save

Save the service configurations of web client service.

Proxy

Show or hide the proxy configure options.

You can visit the following URL: http://Servername/SCMSWEB/Help/Index.htm

Note:

SCMSWEB is the web virtual directory name you have inputted during the installation.
IIS should be installed before Microsoft .NET Framework. Otherwise, you need to register ASP.NET by running the following command:

"%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe -i".

If you get the "The page cannot be found" message when you visit "http://Servername/SCMSWB/", you may have to follow the following steps to resolve it:

1) Run "inetmgr".

2) Expand the appropriate nodes in the IIS to locate the "Web Service Extensions" Node.

3) Select "ASP.NET v2.0.50727" and click "allow".
