How to run Dynamsoft Document Scanning Service in Firefox

Dynamic Web TWAIN has good support for modern browsers such as Firefox and other HTML-5 compatible browsers. After a very simple setup, you can enjoy the powerful scanning features offered by Dynamic Web TWAIN. To run the document scanning service which is called Dynamsoft Service in Firefox, please follow the steps below. We will use Dynamic Web TWAIN online demo as an example.

1. Firstly, if you don’t have Dynamsoft Service installed on your machine, you will see the following prompt on your first visit. Please click the Download button and follow the installation steps to install it. This is a one-time installation process and you will not see this prompt once the Dynamsoft Service is installed successfully.
   
2. After you install the Dynamsoft Service, the demo scan page will look like:
   
3. Now, Dynamic Web TWAIN is enabled in the web page and can be connected to your scanner to start scanning in Firefox.

If you are an existing customer of Dynamsoft who uses an older browser that is not HTML-5 compatible, please make sure to update your browser for better user experience.
