Dynamsoft is now ISO 27001 certified!
At Dynamsoft, we are always thrilled to share our achievements with you, and here we are, with yet another one! We are glad to tell you that Dynamsoft has now become an ISO 27001 certified organization.
Leveraging the ISO framework, we will now manage information security to protect information within Dynamsoft’s enterprise-class document capture and image processing software development kits (SDK) and its supporting processes.
What is ISO 27001, and why is it essential?
ISO 27001 standard is the internationally recognized best practice framework for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). There are many reasons why ISO 27001 is essential for an organization. The only auditable international standard, ISO 27001, defines the requirements of an Information Security Management System. The ISMS contains different procedures, policies, systems, and processes critical for managing information risks such as data leaks, hacks, cyber-attacks, and theft. Besides, organizations can design and implement risk treatment and information security controls to address information security threats and risks.
Having ISO 27001 certification indicates that we are dedicated to following the best practices of information security. Also, the implementation of ISO 27001 is a perfect response to different customer and legal requirements such as the GDPR and the aforementioned potential security risks.
