  1. Can I try TFS hosting for Free?
    Yes. We are providing 30-day free use of Shared Team Foundation Server Hosting. You can sign up here to evaluate TFS hosting for free the first month.

  2. What TFS editions do you offer?

    Dynamsoft offers TFS 2012 and TFS 2010 hosting services for both its Shared Plan and Managed Plan.
    For Managed Plan, TFS 2010/2012 Full SKU edition is provided.
    For Shared Plan, TFS 2010/2012 Full Basic edition is provided. Basic Edition vs. Standard (Full) Edition

  3. How can I find out how much space I am using?
    You can find your Space size information at the "TFS Account Info" tab after signing in from the following page:

  4. How do I add more space?
    You can get 1000MB for each new user. So if you want to add more space, you can add more users to your account. You can add users via the "Manage Users" tab after signing in from the following page:

  5. How do I add more users?
    By default, you don't have any user created. You can add as many users as you need via the " Manage Users" tab after signing in from the following page:

  6. How often is the hosted data backed up?

    We back up the hosted data every 30 minutes. And the offsite backup is daily. Details about backup >>

  7. How can I get the organization ID after downloading the client software?
    You need to sign up for the hosting plan first via the following page:
    https://www.dynamsoft.com/Secure/TFSHosted_Signup.aspx

    You will see the organization ID in the successful page. And we will send you the organization ID via email upon successful signup.

  8. If I forget my web portal password, what should I do?
    You can reset your password via the following page:
    https://www.dynamsoft.com/Hosted/User/ForgotPasswordForUser.aspx

  1. Is free technical support included in the Hosting Plans? Or do we need to pay for it?
    Yes, free technical support is included. TFS hosting provides free technical support.

Upgrade

  1. How to upgrade Dynamsoft TFS 2010 Hosting to 2012?

    First, please make sure the Team Explorer client of your installation is compatible with TFS server 2012.
    Second, please contact our team at support@dynamsoft.com to request an upgrade on the server side.

    Please note:

    • The migration service is free.
    • For customers of our managed TFS 2010 hosting service, the migration service to managed TFS 2012 is also free
