Test Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities/Role

Analyze software requirements and design documents specifically for web SDKs to pinpoint testing needs and devise targeted test scenarios.
Create detailed test strategies and plans tailored to web SDKs, aiming for thorough coverage across all functional and performance aspects.
Develop and sustain automated test scripts focused on validating the functionality, compatibility, and performance of web SDKs across various environments and platforms.
Proactively identify potential areas for enhancement in the web SDK tech stack and employ innovative testing techniques to uncover and address possible flaws or weaknesses in the product and underlying systems.

Technical Skills/Competencies

Expertise in software testing, with a comprehensive grasp of various testing processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript, showcasing good coding skills. Experience in other languages is a plus.
Deep understanding and practical experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including but not limited to Selenium, Appium, and Playwright, demonstrating the ability to implement efficient testing solutions.
Robust ability to detect problems, capable of swiftly pinpointing and isolating software issues.
Strong communication skills, adept at articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively in both oral and written forms.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in test engineering, specifically with front-end technologies.
