Introduction
ClaimBee is a Romania-based legal tech startup on a mission to simplify the process of claiming compensation for disrupted flights under EU Regulation EC 261/2004. By combining automation with a user-friendly platform, ClaimBee empowers airline passengers across Europe to get the compensation they deserve—fast.
At the core of its platform is a seamless boarding pass upload and data extraction process. To ensure speed and reliability, ClaimBee turned to Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK.
Challenge
Before Dynamsoft, ClaimBee’s developers relied on a combination of open-source libraries and custom-built barcode solutions to scan boarding passes. However, these tools frequently fell short in terms of:

- Multiple barcodes on a single boarding pass
The decoded data is then integrated directly into ClaimBee’s backend database to auto-fill flight claim forms.
