Snapshot
Suno is an end-to-end practice management platform designed to streamline audiology clinic operations. From appointment booking and patient onboarding to clinical documentation, insurance billing, and equipment integrations, Suno brings every aspect of clinic operations into a single, integrated system.
As Suno scaled across hundreds of clinics, one persistent challenge remained: efficiently capturing and organizing paper-based documents without slowing down front-desk workflows or adding technical complexity. By embedding Dynamic Web TWAIN directly into its platform, Suno enabled clinics to scan documents straight into patient profiles with a single click—eliminating manual uploads, reducing administrative burden, and saving clinics up to an hour per day.
Challenge
While Suno digitizes much of the patient journey in advance, many audiology clinics still rely heavily on paper documents. Patients frequently arrive with physical insurance cards, IDs, consent forms, and purchase agreements—particularly older patients who prefer in-person paperwork.
Before integrating Dynamic Web TWAIN, clinic staff had to:
- Scan documents to a local desktop
- Manually upload files into the Suno platform
- Repeat the process for each document or patient
This fragmented workflow slowed down front-desk operations, increased the risk of errors, and created friction during patient check-in. Suno also needed a scanning solution that:
- Worked with existing TWAIN-compatible scanners
- Required minimal setup for non-technical clinic staff
- Was reliable enough to run all day, every day, in a healthcare environment
Solution
Suno integrated Dynamic Web TWAIN directly into the patient workflow within its web-based platform. With Dynamic Web TWAIN integrated, clinic staff can now:
- Scan documents directly into a patient record with one click
- Use multi-feed scanners to capture multiple documents at once
- Route scanned pages into specific folders (e.g., insurance, ID, consent forms) without rescanning
- Avoid downloading, renaming, or re-uploading files entirely
The scanning experience is embedded seamlessly into Suno’s UI, appearing as a native part of the platform rather than a third-party tool. Implementation was fast and straightforward. Suno completed the full integration and rollout in approximately two weeks, with usable functionality available in just a few days.
With Dynamic Web TWAIN embedded into our platform, clinics save roughly 5 minutes per patient. At an average of 20 patients a day, that’s an hour saved per clinic—time they can reinvest into patient care.

Why Suno Selected Dynamic Web TWAIN
Suno chose Dynamic Web TWAIN based on four core criteria:
Universal scanner compatibility
Clinics could continue using their existing TWAIN-compatible scanners with no additional investment.
Ease of setup and use
Many clinics lack dedicated IT staff, so the solution had to work out of the box with minimal configuration.
Reliability at scale
Clinics operate continuously during business hours, making uptime and stability non-negotiable.
Proven Solution for Healthcare
Relied on by multiple leading healthcare companies for over 5 years.
Dynamic Web TWAIN met all requirements while allowing Suno to move quickly from decision to deployment.
Knowing other healthcare companies had been running Dynamic Web TWAIN reliably for years gave us confidence. It’s a proven solution that scales with us.

Impact
The impact for clinics was immediate and measurable.
Key outcomes:
- 3–5 minutes saved per patient during check-in and onboarding
- One hour saved per clinic per day, based on average patient volume
- Onboard 1–2 additional patients per day without adding staff
- Reduced front-desk congestion and faster patient flow
- No requirement for new scanning hardware
Dynamic Web TWAIN is now a standard feature across the Suno platform and is actively used by 600+ clinic licenses. Despite intensive daily use in busy clinics, the solution has required virtually no support escalation—delivering the “it just works” reliability Suno was looking for. With Dynamic Web TWAIN as its foundation for document capture, Suno is well-positioned to keep streamlining clinic operations while improving both staff efficiency and patient experience.
