The Proxy Server hides the IP addresses of the scanners. As a highly encapsulated system, Proxy Server hides the implementation details of the remote scan from users. This means that users do not have direct access to Dynamic Web TWAIN Services when using the Proxy Server. This prevents users connected to the Proxy Server from accessing the scanner through other means, in order to effectively prevent malicious attacks from IP address leakage.

Proxy Server SSL Certificate

The Proxy Server can be accessed with an SSL certificate to achieve highly secure and reliable network transmission. Dynamsoft provides powerful SSL certificates for remote scanning to enable authentication of the communication parties and encryption of the communication process. Note that the Proxy Server sets an SSL certificate separate from the Dynamic Web TWAIN Service. Users can access the Proxy Server on the Intranet from anywhere in the network in a secure and efficient manner.
