    This web application demonstrates how Dynamic Web TWAIN works in Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer x86/x64 on platforms such as Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android. You can experience functionalities including online document scanning, image viewing & editing, saving, uploading, and downloading.

  • 2. Download and installation

    The installation is extremely straightforward. Click the download button below and simply follow the installation prompts.

  • 3. Run sample code on your local machine

    Go to the installation directory, under the "…\Dynamsoft\Dynamic Web TWAIN {version} Trial\Samples\" directory, you can see several sample folders.

    • 1. Connect a scanner to your local machine and start the scanner, or get the virtual scanner for testing.
    • 2. Open html files with a supported browser.
    • 3. You should see your device(s) in the Select Source drop-down list and you can try scanning.

  • 4. Deploy sample code to your test server

    After successfully running the demo on your local machine, you may want to test how the application performs for end users. To do this, follow the steps below or refer to the detailed instructions in this guide to deploy the sample code to your test server:

    • 1. Upload your code and Dynamic Web TWAIN libraries to your test server.
    • 2. From a client machine, access the application to evaluate its functionality.

    Now that you've experienced a big part of Dynamic Web TWAIN, it is the time to embed Dynamic Web TWAIN to your own application!

    You can simply copy and paste the desired sample code to your application and make some tweaks to enable document scanning and imaging editing. Here are some resources that might help you with the code customization:
